December Distractions

3 more days till December! Fuck, can you believe 2010 just flew by like that? Well, at least every year ends in a merry mood. Here are the things I'm looking forward to this December! (Besides, obviously, Christmas.)


TOP CHEF ALL-STARS

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS

Continuing the tradition of watching the Harry Potter films with my primary school mates. We grew up together with the books and films! But frankly, this is the one I'm least looking forward to because the the films since Goblet of Fire have all been major disappointments.

LET ME IN

The Hollywood remake of Låt den rätte komma in. From what I read, apparently the remake is even better than the Swedish original. Obviously, I'm skeptical beyond skeptical, because the original is so fucking flawless. (And it's not even like it's directed by some acclaimed Hollywood director like David Fincher, who's directing the remake of Män som hatar kvinnor. Pssh, what's the deal with Hollywood remakes, by the way?) So this, I gotta check out by myself.

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER

I don't know what to expect of this 3rd installment. Different director, different composer. And after watching Prince Caspian for the 23241098th time tonight, I have to admit it's actually really horrible :(
