Voyage de la Vie

So this week was rather happening for me :D
Wednesday night was spent celebrating fuck buddy Shaun's birthday at Velvet Underground + Mambo. Unfortunately, I was the only JC classmate who turned up (EVERYONE ELSE PANGSEH WTF, Shaun now you know who your true friend is!), and I felt rather awkward around his friends. But they were all super enthusiastic drink-buyers, so I wasn't complaining. And in case you think I'm a freeloader, I also did my share in buying a round of drinks okay! Yeah basically, my wallet died that day. It was fun though, and I got home really tipsy that morning, but not drunk and wasted, so it was pretty alright.
Friday was a work day, but it totally didn't feel like one, what with Aaron and Ben around for company. Watched a movie (Sorcerer's Apprentice was the shittiness max), and ate Italiannies, which was rather decent.
Okay, so I guess this is the part where I begin to sound like I'm bragging, and you'll have to forgive me for doing so. But oh man, it's impossible to keep all these to myself and not share with the whole world mans.
Yeap, so today (Saturday) was spent with my Uncle who came to visit from London, and my Aunt (who is a Puan Sri, wife of a certain Tan Sri, who is the CEO of a certain G Resorts), and several other much much distant relatives whom I've never met before. Anyway, the whole lot of them went to Universal Studios without extending an invitation to me, cos they thought I had to work today. HEART SHATTERED TO ONE MILLION PIECES. And I later found out that they actually had 2 extra complimentary tickets, and everyone had EXPRESS TICKETS for EVERY RIDE, so all they had to do before each ride was to casually saunter past the long queues while everyone else was dying in the merciless heat of Singapore. (Ok maybe not, since today's weather was perfectly cool.) Wow, that was a FML.
Oh well, so anyways I met them for dinner, which we had at this Italian restaurant called Palio at Hotel Michael, which was really just mediocre. And then we head on to watch Voyage de la Vie, and we were seated in the VIP box! Atas coolbeans much?! The show was actually kinda awesome, and it didn't hurt that I didn't had to pay to sit in the prime VIP spot. There's this super cute contortionist boy, whom I later found out is 15 years old but looks more like 10. And whoa, many hot bods in tight skimpy clothing galore! Very very good distractions from Jonathan Leong, who was super awkward all over the place.
After the show, the adults decided to enter the casino for, I guess, a VIP tour or something. And regret x2, cos I stupidly forgot to bring along my passport along with me when I left the house. OH WELLS.
It's still all rather exciting though, especially when this certain staff there could still recognise me from a volunteer work that we did together. Later on, I found out that she was actually the wife of the CEO of the XXX Resort. And she exchanged numbers with me! OMG. NETWORKING SKILLS PWNAGE.
Sigh, after a night of atasness, I guess it's time for me to go back to the poor and boring life of a hoi polloi :( Time to plonk onto my IKEA bedsheet, and dream that I'm sleeping in Egyptian high thread-count cotton instead.
