HAIRSPRAY HEROES!

FINALLY watched HAIRSPRAY! HOMG HOMG I can die with no regrets now!

Seriously, I've been wanting to watch this movie ever since the trailers came out in April. And the wait was very well worth it! And I'm still in the Hairspray-groovy mood! The whole soundtrack is damn addictive!

Gosh, I wanna live in the 60's where I'm gonna make everyday a Negro Day! Do the checkerboard! TV is black+white!

The 60's era totally kicks ass okay?! Everyone doesn't talk, but belt out in songs and sing to each other instead while grooving along. How coolbeans is that? So totally unlike our present era, where Negro day probably means rapping, wearing excessive bling bling, and spinning around on your head! What ridiculous shit!

HEY MAMA WELCOME TO THE 60's... Oh oh oh oh oh-oh! *sings*

Amanda Bynes and John Travolta are like super cute and funny in the movie!

And even all the small small characters are memorable and very likeable -- like The Dynamites! Man, when it comes to singing, no one does it better than the Blacks. I love Queen Latifah's rendition of "I Know Where I've Been".

HAIRSPRAY! HAIRSPRAY! HAIRSPRAY! HOMG, fortunately I have the soundtrack. I'll blast it repeatedly on loop, then shake and shimmy it along to the songs from now on! Whee!

Anyway after the movie, I stayed to catch a glimpse of the cast of Heroes! Luckily HongJiun joined me later, cos Liyana had the audacity to pangseh me! Liyana, you skeeze! You better not pangseh me again when Ugly Betty comes to town.

Those are the hosts, and I only recognise Marion Caunter.

Before the excruciating wait for the arrival of the stars, they were playing this question and answer game where they give out freebies. And when they asked what channel was Heroes broadcast on, the guys in front of me shouted "Bittorrent"! -_-

GAH! My horrible camera rightfully belongs to the museum of ancient artefacts! The zoom function was damn lousy, and the pictures turned out blurred :( So I have hardly any decent pictures of the stars.

And it doesn't console me that I couldn't maintain continuous eye contact with the stage cos of all the banners and cameras blocking my view. Yeah, I'm short. BOO, I have long hands, so what?

Ali Larter, so near yet so far!

Oh and they didn't play the Indian-esque music when Mohinder Suresh appeared! Gosh I'm surprised! They do that everytime in the show.

So, this is like the CLOSEST I could get. WAHLAU the stupid bodyguard KNN go and block Ali Larter's face can?! I don't want to see her ponytail! I want to see her face! URGHHH!

And I spelt Greg Grunberg's name wrongly in the picture.

Pfft. So when is the cast of Ugly Betty coming down to Singapore/Malaysia? I wanna catch Rebbeca Romjin please!
